The San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the launch of its new mobile websites for Visitslo.com, SLOChamber.org and SLO-Business.com.* In the past year, more than 2,600 people used mobile devices to browse these sites. Now, anyone using a mobile device can quickly and easily access information about San Luis Obispo, local businesses and local organizations simply by visiting the San Luis Obispo Chamber's websites. Each Chamber member already has one free page on the mobile directory, complete with company information such as a business description, pricing, location, map, a link to its website, and more. But members in good standing with the San Luis Obispo Chamber have the opportunity to purchase an “Enhanced Listing,” which allows the member to rise to the top of search results,** as well establish company branding by providing a corporate logo or picture. For just $365 per year (or $1 per day) members can purchase this special feature and rise to the top of search results on both the Mobile Directory and the Online Business Directory for an entire year. The image to the right shows an example of the Enhanced Listing for Apple Farm Restaurant. Different website, different audience Visitslo.com is the first San Luis Obispo tourism website to go mobile, and it features two important mobile directories: lodging and restaurants. This allows users to search for accommodations based on pricing, location and amenities, and for restaurants based on pricing, location and restaurant features. The mobile website for SLOChamber.org features a new, dynamic Mobile Business Directory that allows users to search for members using a keyword, business name or location; this website also has relocation information, basic information about the San Luis Obispo Chamber, and staff contact information. The mobile website for SLO-Business.com features news about the San Luis Obispo Chamber and its members, articles about upcoming events, photos and more. Bookmark them on your mobile devices today! *The mobile websites are live, but in a beta testing phase.
